Spa Castle (Korean Spa & Wellness Resort)
A large-scale Korean-inspired wellness resort in Queens offering one of the most extensive spa and thermal bath experiences in the New York area. Opened in 2006, Spa Castle combines traditional Asian spa culture with European wellness concepts, creating an expansive all-season destination focused on relaxation, hydrotherapy and full-body rejuvenation.
Often described as an urban wellness sanctuary, the multi-level complex features indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pools, rooftop pools, themed saunas, thermal baths and relaxation lounges designed to provide an immersive and highly social spa experience. Spa Castle is especially known for its extensive Sauna Valley featuring multiple specialty sauna rooms, including Himalayan Salt, Halotherapy, Jade, Gold Pyramid, Ice Land and Far Infrared experiences. Additional amenities include mineral baths, cold plunges, acupressure hydrotherapy pools, massages, body scrubs, reflexology and wellness-focused spa treatments.
Following a major renovation in 2024, the facility expanded and modernized many of its wellness offerings while continuing to position itself as one of New York’s most iconic destination spas for both locals and visitors.
